Big Ten Announces 2014-15 Men’s Basketball Home and Away Opponents
COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Big Ten Conference announced on Friday the Maryland men’s basketball conference home and away opponents for the 2014-15 season.
The Terrapins’ inaugural Big Ten season features an exciting docket of home games, including five teams that qualified for the 2013 NCAA Tournament: Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Terps will also play Nebraska, Northwestern, Penn State and Rutgers at home.
Maryland will play five home-and-home series, featuring Indiana, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers. It will also face Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State and Purdue on the road.
The Big Ten currently has five teams ranked in the Associated Press Top-25 – the most of any conference in the nation.
